Sweet Honeycrisp apples, Bosc pears and dried cranberries with a crunchy oat topping is full of fall flavors and will be a delicious addition to your holiday dessert table!

I found this wonderful recipe from The Food Network, courtesy of Ina Garten – who is one of my all-time favorite cooks!

For this recipe, I used the new Pampered Chef Stone Round Baker, the Apple Wedger to wedge the apples AND pears and Cinnamon Plus Spice Blend:

This 11” (28-cm) round baker allows the crusts and toppings of quiches, cakes, shepherd’s pies, and apple crisps to gently brown as they bake. Plus, you can always store and reheat leftovers in this stunning serving dish, too!

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ripe Bosc pears (4 pears)
  • 2 pounds firm Honeycrisp apples (6 apples)
  • 3/4 cup dried cranberries
  • 1 teaspoon grated orange zest
  • 1 teaspoon grated lemon zest
  • 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ teaspoons Cinnamon Plus Spice Blend

For the topping:

  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup light brown sugar, lightly packed
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 cup old-fashioned oats
  • 1 cup cold unsalted butter cubed (2 sticks)

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F/175⁰C.

Peel and core the pears and apples and cut them into large chunks, then place in large bowl.

Zest lemon and orange, then juice both to make 2 tablespoons juice from each. To the apples and pears, add the cranberries, zests, juices, granulated sugar, flour, and Cinnamon Plus Spice Blend, tossing gently to coat. Pour into Stone Round Baker and set aside.

For the topping:

Combine the flour, granulated and brown sugars, salt, oats, and butter in the Deluxe Stand Mixer with the paddle attachment. Mix on low speed for 1-2 minutes, or until the mixture is in large crumbles. Sprinkle evenly over the fruit, covering the fruit completely.

Place the Stone Round Baker on a parchment-lined sheet pan and bake for 50 minutes to 1 hour, until the top is brown and the fruit is bubbly. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream, if desired.

Sweet and savory, these Apple Cheddar Bundles are easy to make and will be the favorite appetizer at your holiday events! This is another great recipe from Delish, they are such a great resource, no matter what your level of cooking.

For this recipe, I used the Rectangle Stone:

Rectangle Stone

Stone Cookie Sheet

Get ready for the best cookies—soft in the center, crispy but never burned on the bottom! This stone also turns out the best pizza and flatbreads, appetizers, biscuits and scones, roasted vegetables, garlic bread, brunch braids, and so much more. Because the unglazed cooking surface draws moisture away, everything cooks consistently and turns out light and crispy.

Natural Clay Cookware

Our unglazed stoneware is made with our new StoneFusion material making it our strongest and most durable stoneware yet. You can pre-heat, broil, and even put it in the dishwasher. Each piece features a ribbon pattern, so you can easily distinguish it from your original unglazed stones. Like all our stones, you can use it to make your favorite baked goods, frozen foods, or reheated leftovers that are just as good or better than day one. And it only gets better with age. A nonstick seasoning will develop as you use it—the darker it looks, the better it cooks!

Click the link to get your Rectangle Stone. You’ll be glad you did.

Let’s jump right in!

Ingredients

  • 2 medium Honeycrisp apples cored, sliced 1/8″ thick
  • Zest from one lemon
  • 6 tbsp. honey, divided
  • 17.3-ounces puff pastry sheets – thawed
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon water
  • 8-ounces sharp cheddar freshly grated
  • 1 ½ teaspoon flaky sea salt
  • ¼ cup chopped roasted pecans
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves

Preheat oven to 400°F/200⁰C.

Grate cheese; set aside.

Core and thinly slice apples. Combine apples, lemon zest, and 4 tablespoons of honey. Toss together gently.

Cut each pastry sheet into 4 even squares (4.5″ x 4.5″ each) for a total of 8 squares.

Whisk egg together with water. Brush outer edges of pastry with egg wash. Rotate pastry squares so a corner faces you. Place 1 tablespoon grated cheese on the bottom. Top with 10 to 11 apple slices. Place 1 tablespoon grated cheese on each side of apple slices. Fold left side over top and lightly press to seal. Fold right side over top and press to seal. Brush tops and sides of pastry with egg wash; sprinkle with sea salt.

Place bundles on Rectangle Stone and bake for 20-25 minutes, until pastry is golden brown and puffed. Let cool for 5 minutes.

Drizzle with remaining 2 tablespoons honey. Top with pecans and thyme. Serve immediately.

That’s it!  I hope that you’ll give this a try, and please leave a comment to let me know what you think about this recipe.  I would love to hear from you. Let’s make great food together!

Ours is family-sized to quickly cook up to six servings, a whole chicken or roast, or appetizers for a crowd. Like a convection oven, superheated air circulates giving food a crispy texture. No preheating is necessary, saving you precious time. Conveniently fits under kitchen cabinets.

Air Fryer, Rotisserie, & Dehydrator All-in-One

Ours does more than just better-for-you air frying. It makes perfectly cooked rotisserie chicken, crispy outside and tender inside, so you can skip the hit-or-miss ones at the grocery store. And it dehydrates fruits, veggies, and herbs so you can enjoy their fresh flavors well beyond the season.

Juicy mango combined with crispy veggies makes a delicious salsa that can be served with tortilla chips, seafood or tacos!! I have made this Pampered Chef recipe for years and wanted to share it with you ahead of Memorial Day, as it’s so delicious and a wonderful, healthy salsa to serve alongside our other grilling favorites.

What is jicama? Jicama is a root vegetable, sometimes called a “Mexican Potato”. However, it tastes very similar to an apple and can be eaten raw. Jicama can usually be found in the produce section of the grocery store, usually near plantains and other Spanish fruits and vegetables.  If you are unable to find any jicama near you, feel free to substitute 1/2 of a peeled green apple for the jicama in this recipe.

I used my Manual Food Processor, Veggie Wedger and Chili Lime Rub for this recipe:

Manual Food Processor

Our Manual Food Processor can take care of nearly all your chopping and mincing needs, without needing an outlet. Add your ingredients to the bowl and pump the handle for fast salsa, dip, cookie dough, baby food, and tapenade. The more you pump, the finer it cuts! When you’re done, the handle locks into the lid for easy storage in your cabinets.

Veggie Wedger

An Easy-to-Use Vegetable Wedger

With this Veggie Wedger, you’ll get six identically sized fruit or veggie wedges with just one quick motion. It’s perfect for meal prep, salads, and after-school snacks.

Our Veggie Wedger has serrated stainless blades that easily glide through any fruit or veggie that doesn’t have a pit, like potatoes (except sweet potatoes), onions, and citrus. You’ll love how it slices tomatoes without crushing them. Just place the fruit or veggie in the base and push the top down. Voila! You now have perfectly even wedges ready for air frying, salads, or snacks for yourself or your kids. The soft-grip handles let you cut large amounts comfortably, and the nonslip base keeps the Veggie Wedger secure when slicing.

Chili Lime Rub

A Kick of Flavor

This fan favorite has been brought back. It’s a classic combination of chili peppers and tangy lime and is perfect for shrimp, chicken, beef, pork, or fish. Keep some on your bar cart to rim margaritas!
