Place ham cut-side down into your Enameled Cast Iron Pan or roasting pan fitted with rack. Add water to the pan approximately 1/2 -inch deep. Cover loosely with foil and bake 45 minutes.
1 8-10 lb bone-in spiral ham, Water
For the Glaze:
In a small saucepan, combine all glaze ingredients over medium heat. Bring to a simmer, stirring often, for 5 minutes, or until glaze has reduced and thickened slightly.
½ cup honey, ¼ cup apricot jam, 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard, 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar, 4 cloves garlic, 2 jalapeños, 1 orange, Freshly ground black pepper
Remove foil from ham after 45 minutes and baste with the pan drippings. Pour or brush the glaze over the ham. Continue to bake ham for 60 minutes, basting every 15 minutes with glaze/drippings until heated through and glaze is caramelized.
